My opinion is the company dragged this out as long as possible playing nice. They got to delay sec 6 for five months. Real negotiations start next time, and it starts from scratch (if the mec is finally ditching this focused negotiating BS)

It's worse thinking we were close rather than thinking we were no where near it in the first place. Like the rug was pulled out. As I said, I'm not sure who to blame for that. Maybe the company, maybe JA? I think this goes down as fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The first was no quid for the meltdown. The second is this royal slap in the face. There better not be a third and the union needs to inform all new hire candidates of what is going on (remember Republic FOs make more than ours even with the new rates) and provide direction for the pilot group.
