I agree we need to be supporting the flight attendants but they need to get their own house in order first. For many FAs it's not a career but something fun to do until it's not. Hard to build any unity with such a fractured group with many that don't unterstand that they even work under a CBA. They simply don't have as much skin in the game which you would think would make it really easy to organize something because what's the risk if you lose, but the sad reality is they would have 2000 scabs on day one.
The company also has mitigated all risk with the FAs because they cannot strike. The company know though that even if they could strike many would cross the picket line immediately and they could fill in the rest in short order. 300 show up to an open house and they hire 60. No shortage in supply there. There is absolutely no reason to even negotiate from the company's point of view. The only thing they sacrifice is a little on the customer service side but they don't care about that anyway.
