Rnav arrivals and approaches are two different things. Of course you can hand fly an approach and is a requirement to do so in the sim, single engine no less.
Can you fly at FL410? Don't answer, I really could care less.
Look I'm honestly not trying to bash. I just think we are so afraid of busting an altitude/restriction that we let our skills degrade by letting the automation do everything for us. When it hits the fan and those skills are needed, I hope we can dust them off appropriately. I regularly hand fly up to 15 or 20k just so i stay sharp.
