And with firings that appear unwarranted in most cases, it's obvious this place is in full witch hunt mode. Once you get past all that you'll enjoy our joke of a PBS system that doesn't honor seniority and only cares about operational need. Get awarded out of seniority order?? You must have bid wrong...let us better explain how you need to bid. The only way the contract is going to get done is with a strike to force the issue, but even then most of us believe that won't fix the operation or maintenance problems. Only a complete upper management change will start a change there. Attrition this year is at about 10% and it's only going to continue to go up. This is just scratching the surface, I'm sure others can add on or you can read the previous pages and posts...Google Allegiant air and watch/read the news reports about issues. The information is out there and 99-100% spot on. Buyer beware.
None of these things have happened to me either. And this move the metal mentality you say , is prevalent at any airline by virtue of MEL's and other said provisions to keep airplanes flying as long as everything is in compliance. I have never been asked or forced to accept anything that wasn't up to par. Heck, the AB tells Mx control everything via ACARS even before you have a chance to write it up. Attrition rate is due to several other factors, personal and professional. You definitely seem unhappy here, if you don't like the way somethings are done with the company, write a memo, don't cut the branch you are sitting on.
And just because, you take pride in your work, like your job and call out people spewing hatred online, doesn't mean you pick mission modes. Come on guys, we are supposed to be professionals! (Direct quote from Reservoir Dogs!
