I'm a 21 year old, commercial licensed, instrument rated pilot ASEL & AMEL with only 255 hours and several other endorsements (tail wheel, high performance, complex). I'm about to graduate with a bachelors in aviation and a minor in business and have tried to get a job from 50+ companies and nobody is biting because I have so few hours. I'm not an instructor and I don't have the money to become one, so I'm just straight out of luck. I've done thousands of Google searches to find a company where I can hopefully build up time and make a little bit of money So I can at least get my career started. And so far: nothing.
Do any of you guys know of any places that a guy like me can get some work as a pilot and I am willing to relocate literally anywhere. (Currently in OK)
I'd really appreciate it and I know I'm asking for way more than I should, I just don't know where else to turn
Check out dropzone.com to be a skydive pilot. The hiring picks up in the spring so if you get on now you can be ahead of the game. It's all PIC time and it's a lot of fun while building time and making money. Lots of places give you free housing. I got a job under 300tt.
Good Luck!!!
