Takes a certain kind of person to feel entitled to stuff before even being hired. Also if I were in HR I'd quickly take anyone who requests specific type and throw their app in the circular file. I'd rather hire a less qualified person that is just happy to be here.
Asking a question does not equal entitlement or not happy. If you have a preference ask. If the answer is no say thanks and take what you get.
I asked and I was told no. I said thanks and I'm pumped to get a great job either way.
