Takes a certain kind of person to feel entitled to stuff before even being hired. Also if I were in HR I'd quickly take anyone who requests specific type and throw their app in the circular file. I'd rather hire a less qualified person that is just happy to be here.
My entire interview group was told to put our choice of aircraft (if we had one) on our file, as well as an availability date. I doubt they would ask an entire interview group to do that just to weed out those seeking the 747 type. I'm just saying...
