I'm on my 2nd trip using my iPad 2 with the software. There's a learning curve, no doubt about it, but I'm not finding it to be awful. I'm not sure Jeppesen electronic would be better. We're all used to the paper and there will be a period of adjustment.

It will make a bit more sense after you do the IBT but mostly you just have to use it. Under "Documents" you will find Navtech info if you hunt a bit. I'm going to go through that with a fine toothed comb to learn how they do things.

We're all used to the 10-2, 10-3, 10-9, 11-1, etc. layout of the Jepps. This is a bit different. I think with time it will become better.

And in the end it will be a lot better than carrying around a 40 lb bag and doing revisions every trip.
