I know it goes without saying, but something about how we don't have a contract that can be arbitrated by our pilot group that requires them to have a required amount of reserves for every line pilot. Something that our union sister company has.

Yep. Lowest block hour month of the year and we are still required to be awarded 90+ hour lines. But at least we now have a SAPA rep that can go down to St. George and be told that they would like to improve the lines, but we have to keep picking up all this extra flying for our mainline partners.

I just find comfort that for every $1,000 profit SW makes off of all that extra flying, I get to split $60 of that among 3,800 pilots. When I am doing all that extra flying and spending all this extra time away from my family, I just envision what I can spend that 2 cents on and it makes it all worth it.
