I did - although by no means do I mean to imply that Jepp FD is close to Foreflight, just that Jeppesen has made vast improvements to their product which I believe is because of what Foreflight has done. As far as Jepp is behind the curve compared to Foreflight, Navtech is that much further behind Jepp (my opinion only).

Before you knock on me too badly... I know what Foreflight can do. I can flight plan in the comfort of my easy chair, get an official briefing and file my flight plan*. I can then load the flight plan from FF into my onboard GPS - and display ADS-B in data on my iPad (traffic, text WX and NEXRAD overlays). I also get a "not for primary navigation" AHRS display on the iPad. Plus the ability to overlay the approach chart on the enroute chart and show ownship position. All neat stuff that we probably won't see in the 121 environment for some time.

* guaranteed not to crash, as the mainstream media seems to think that most GA accidents are because the pilot didn't file a flight plan
