Here is one point that transition really helps, which I'm sure can be "saved."
I was a senior FO but watched JR Capts be on Res the last 5-6 days of the month, have 1 day off then back on Res for another 5-6. As a commuter, they would be away from home for almost two weeks. That's what got the transition ball rolling.
Also keep in mind the company guy that agreed to the transition conflict language was fired by BBB weeks after the ink dried. That's how the Co feels about transition.
