Yes it is a treat. I do the same thing in LAX for 1 or 2 day green slips. The whole parking/bus process is a PITA. It is a joy to be at my car in the short term lot less than 5 minutes after walking off the Jet.
And sometimes that 30 minute head-start can add up to over an hour less battling traffic on "The 405."
