For what it's work... Working for a regional airline will be a very short term venture for most pilots being hired today. (4-6 years). I would strongly suggest looking beyond the regional to the major or mid-major that you would like to work for. From there focus on the regional that can take you to that airline. (IE. American= Envoy, Piedmont, PSA. Delta=Endeavor Air. United=Commutair. Jet Blue=Cape Air) I would not recommend choosing a regional because of orders for "shiny new jets" or pilot domiciles, because we all know these change.
