Me personally? I have no problem with short calls as I live 35 minutes from the lot. Not the point I was trying to make. My point was how overstaffed we are on the guppy left seat in Denver. The fact that we have THAT many pilots to put on RSV. They could cover the schedule integrity with 20% less pilots as they prove daily in the right seat on the guppy here. I haven't flown since the week of Thanksgiving! FAT CITY baby.
So, no, it's not a great way to run an airline. It's a terribly wasteful way to run an airline. But I'll gladly collect my 76 x $211.
BTW, 300 flights are cancelled in Denver today. So much for not stranding folks.
