I'm pretty sure CA are the same. In my case I got to ask for pretty much everything I wanted , AM/PM , weekends off etc and to my surprise she built me a custom line with all my requests, was better than bidding. I'm sure it was only possible because we were properly staffed
If only we had some type of software that would do the same thing for lineholders. You could request what you wanted and as long as someone senior to you didn't want the same thing, it would be yours. Ah.. we can dream....
