However the union notes that while a previous crew room grievance over crew room amenities was filed in 2012 and settled in 2014...the company has not addressed the current problem of not providing infrastructure for pilots to make company compelled updates to their EFBs.

The Union also noted that it should not fall to the association to solve this problem when this is an FAA approved program initiated by the company.

This, IMHO, has gone far beyond a comfort issue in the crew rooms. There are now enough mandatory company policies that involve internet access that they are obligated to provide it.
