Just because my career was stagnant, I do not wish that on anyone and by the time you get to Delta you are captain qualified in my eyes.

Now lets work on that JV crap and get more wide body flying TOO!
Well said..and mainline Capt is mainline Capt, regardless of type. When I was lucky enough to get hired back in 99, we had two choices..sit sideways on the 727 in NYC/DFW, or head down to MCO in the right seat of the 732 on Delta Express. IIRC, after flying 6 mos and getting off probation, new hires were upgrading to the left seat..and I don't think anyone had any problems with the transition.

If they put it in SLC and fly the intermountain west to MSO, JAC, FCA, HLN, BZN like we used to fly in the 733, it will go senior among the FO's who've been waiting to upgrade out west but don't want to commute. I don't think any of us think we're too good to fly a 190..and we welcome the chance to fly more of our Delta pax on mainline jets.:
