Interim replacement is EG our current VP of Safety. I'm unsure what positions he held at Mesa prior to coming here.
Don't know him but he can't be any worse. For the sake of the few friends I still have over there ( many have left ) I hope the new guy understands the fundamentals regarding basic care and feeding of pilots.
