Kudos to the last guy on the call to ask the payscale slope question in its proper framing by calling it essentially a B scale.

I am not at all satisfied with the NC response. While I agree it will be expensive and difficult to fix right now, they created this God forsaken slope in C2010 and now, we want it fixed.

I don't give a shizz about the fact that fixing it would seem unfair to the senior guy as it would mean the jr guy gets 50 bucks and he only get 25.

What is fair about the jr guy trailing industry payrates by like 50 dollars and the senior guy being right at IA? that is extremely unfair. the fact that he even brought up this sort of rationale makes me think he doesn't get it and we need new blood in the NC.

The first thing these clowns need to acknowledge is that there is a unfair slope to the payscale. until they acknowledge that fully, they will not be too concerned about fixing it.
