I'm getting the impression that Mesa's normal attrition is being used to support some mass exodus of FOs. Mesa started hiring again in the Summer of 2013. I've moved up almost 150 since I started and a good chunk of that was as a new FO. I'm around the 60% mark and only move up about 3-5 numbers a month, so most of the attrition is guys that have been here less than a year. I also figure about 3-5 training washouts a month based on historical pass rates, so real attrition is still pretty low, but still higher than earlier in the year.

October new hires have moved up about 25 numbers in 2 months, so around 12-13 pilots leaving per month over the last couple of months, including training failures.
