I'm just a line pilot, I do my job and go home. I have given my leadership position in regards to our Spirit contract to my Union and have accepted my position is to follow them and to stay informed and help influence them. It seems most on APC think they are leaders and that they can do better, they know better, and that our leadership doesn't have our best interest at heart.

In reality all you guys do is hurt the pilot group by undermining our leadership and tearing down unity. Who's side are you on?
What misinformation has been spread? The NC all but admitted they were negotiating a B scale. I believe the intentions of the "focused negotiations" was to get a deal that benefits the top 3-400 guys. They needed to get it done by the end of the year to push through a vote that could still get them 51%. Hence why Bendo says we are close. Transition became the sticking point and now their strategy wont work as this drags on and the pilot group becomes more junior.
Like it or not it is going to be very difficult to get a majority of the pilots to subsidize atrocious payrates so a very small percentage can get better than Jetblue rates. Such a strategy will put us in an even worse position when we negotiate the next contract. There is no reason we shouldnt be negotiating industry average pay across the board.
