I do completely agree Skywest needs to throw us a bone here. Something needs to happen period in the positive direction for morale.

If you compare with other regionals on upgrade time, growth, first year pay, bonuses, career progression, you'll see that we have NONE of those. Increasing first year pay will not bring pilots here that weren't already wanting to come here. The biggest factor in recruiting is upgrade time/growth. If you kept first year pay as is but decreased upgrade time to 2 years, that would bring in more new hires than increasing first year pay to $40/HR and keeping our 8 year upgrade, no growth, no bonus, no career progression.
