I don't think I said anything about scope and retirement, although that is important. I'm simply taking about upgrade time. New hires have been looking at that for at least 15 years. Could that with the bonuses and career progression that recruiters dangle in front of prospective new hires, there is no reason why having industry leading first year pay alone will attract pilots that weren't already considering this place to begin with.
I was just putting stuff in there everyone has talked about. Again, I don't disagree with you at all but I do feel for many, the pay scale for 1st year is all its gonna take to sign on the dotted line. That and domicile.
