I was on alert... a long time ago... probably in the chow hall with Timbo. I was looking at airlines and one of the guys was telling me he could go to ?Air Florida? me thinks and maybe start as a Captain. I knew squat about airlines at the time, but understood seniority and I knew an airline with 15 year F/Os wasn't going to merge with "mini-me" and bring its 1 year Capt over as "MEGA-ME" Capt.
