Agreed, for the most part. LXJT will probably not exist after 2017. Delta doesn't want it and United can't afford to buy it. Delta and its contractors will rush to fill the voids caused by the death of LXJT.
LASA will continue as a separate entity owned by SKywest Holdings or other ownership. In light of the hundreds of millions of dollars Holdings has blown on the XJT/Asa merger, if Delta buys LASA, I don't foresee it merging it with 9E. It would make more sense to keep it as a separate, but wholly owned airline.
There's also the question of how SKYW's 100 new MRJ's will be distributed once scope issues are resolved.
