by 2017, the regionals will be so short staffed, the only solution with be consolidation. It is not far-fetched to think that Delta (or United) would buy ASA and merge into Endeavor (or commutair)...if anything, for the excess pilots alone. They know there are ~500 lifers here at ASA, that will never flow into Delta and won't leave...that will help keep ASA afloat flying RJs until they reach 65.
