1) Major defense contractor (developmental flight test)
2) Large UAV (6000 lbs+)
3) N/A - we have only 4 pilots on this aircraft
4) 200 days worked (we have to work from a cubicle when not flying "from a box" LOL)
5) about 110 hotel overnights at the flight test facility (no international travel)
6) about 150 hours "flown" per year
7) $125,000 base pay plus about $15,000 in travel/per diem, and another $10,000 in 401k and/or retirement contributions from the company ($150K total)

Totally different perspective from most posts here. Not a bad gig overall, but I fly Corporate Part-91 on the side to keep my sanity. That job pays the typical daily rate for a contract pilot. Hoping to get back to the airlines someday.
