Why would anyone sign a training contract in this environment? Is Mesa the only regional requiring one? I know Republic dropped their's a while back.
I'm looking at Mesa only because I live close to Dallas but I will cross it off my list if a training contract is required. Seems kind of crazy to require one in the current environment. It's one more reason to avoid a particular regional when you would think they would be changing things to make it a more attractive place to work, not less attractive.
The outcome was I ended up paying them. They filed papers in court and I took care of it before they got a judgement. They don't really give you an option to sign it or not if you want to work there.
