Yep, that's about what I hear. I am planning to get my twin stuff knocked out over the next couple of months as well. Based on what I am seeing and the stories I hear, the regionals are def looking to hire. The pay will suck but I can make it for a year or 2 just fine on that pay.
My plane is a 1963 Mooney M20c and going though its first annual with since I purchased it. It will be good for a quick sale if nothing else in the short term. Where do you keep it? I'm in Virginia Beach.
I got mine in west Texas where I'm currently stationed. We absolutely hate the mexican border but the plan is to get the hell out of here in two and a half years once the wife is done with nursing school. I looked at Mooneys but couldn't stand the seating position. Otherwise they're the most efficient four banger solution out there outside experimentals. Short body Mooney's should be cheap to keep through income dips. Good luck!
