My apologies. I meant that when the UA person uses a vacation pass they are now competing at seniority base with the express employee.
United or the mainline carrier own every seat on that plane. The express carriers have no system to sell seats. If you guys want to start your own flying under your own name then you can dictate how the system works. The industry is riddled with carriers that tried and failed but it's always an option.
