New hire question here. I'm still in training, so my question covers the time between training/IOE and the start of the recent vacancy award date of 1 Mar 16.

My initial bid was 737/FO to EWR and I suscessfully bid ORD in the recent vacancy. I expect to be done with training/IOE in early Feb. Living closer to ORD I would prefer to just start there vice EWR however, being new and not understanding the protocol just yet I don't want to step in "it" in my first days with the company. Should I expect to go to EWR for Feb or is it possible to get ORD right out of the gate? What is the best way to approach this question?
