My initial bid was 737/FO to EWR and I suscessfully bid ORD int eh recent vacancy. I expect to be done with training/IOE in early Feb. Living closer to ORD I would prefer to just start there vice EWR however, being new and not understanding the protocol just yet I don't want to step in "it" in my first days with the company. Should I expect to go to EWR for Feb or is it possible to get ORD right out of the gate? What is the best way to approach this question?

I don't have recent experience with your situation but it's likely you'll be flying out of EWR for several months before they activate your lateral to ORD. You may even go from lineholder in EWR to reserve in ORD - and end up deciding to lateral back to EWR so you can be a lineholder.
