New hire question here. I'm still in training, so my question covers the time between training/IOE and the start of the recent vacancy award date of 1 Mar 16.
My initial bid was 737/FO to EWR and I suscessfully bid ORD int eh recent vacancy. I expect to be done with training/IOE in early Feb. Living closer to ORD I would prefer to just start there vice EWR however, being new and not understanding the protocol just yet I don't want to step in "it" in my first days with the company. Should I expect to go to EWR for Feb or is it possible to get ORD right out of the gate? What is the best way to approach this question?

You will get a notification on CCS (typically at the end of each month when they move pieces around before monthly PBS bidding opens).
That said, you are EWR based until then. You will most likely be stuck in EWR for at least a month, but you might get activated before you finish IOE with all of the movement. You can always email pilot planning and ask when they plan to activate you. Welcome!
