Good point. I got a buddy (retired USN) with a ton of hours and the majors won't touch him. Nothing. My best guess is because he wrecked an airplane while instructing a student and the eval board put him at fault. However, seeing as military flight records are usually sealed I am not sure if he ever disclosed this. But if he did.....probably sunk his chances.
