There's is no doubt in my mind that these planes are coming. But do we agree to fly them for a B scale, or do we fly them for a company imposed C scale? Don't think that can happen? Read section 3. Within 6 months of an order being announced there will be a pay scale, and there is no leverage on our part to keep the planes from flying.
You are exactly right. They can bring the CS100 on property without a published pay scale and binding arbitration will decide....meanwhile, they can pay $139/hr (published E190 rates) while we haggle. Keep in mind that our 2016 published rate for an E195 is $163/hr. That's surely where we'll end up after arbitration. Personally, I'll take the $185. It's decent and we get the 100 seater at mainline, if they even buy it. The idea that they will replace the 319 with the CS 100...especially with our new lease agreements is reaching.
