You do realize that obituaries and official union communications can't and shouldn't speculate on causes of death right? No one has seen the medical examiners report on the specific cause of death. The circumstances of where and when he died don't seem to gel with toxic fume exposure but we should all respect him and his family by not discussing specific details of his passing on a public forum.
Of course I realize that, you didn't understand what I was saying.
The reason for the speculation and the surprise/discussion of COD was completely because of the lack of details. I wasn't advocating releasing COD or anything like that, I was merely commenting on the reason for the sudden speculation.
I'll leave it at that, out of respect for the family. I've heard he was a really nice, personable guy, and those of us who never got a chance to fly with him are poorer for that fact.
