You're not doing anything wrong. Your flight time isn't really competitive with ual,dl,aa. Your best bet is to slug it out a while at the regionals and build your time.
I beg to differ. His numbers are just fine and pretty typical for a military background. Lots of ex-mil pilots getting hired with those numbers or less. Building time at a regional will just increase his odds of getting hired even though the pay sucks and is a slap in the face to anyone who meets ATP minimums.
