like you said the average is an average but i was hired at DL with under 2500 TT mil heavy and ~100 hours 121 at a regional.

All I can say is on the ual side, avg is still about 8000 hours . Military transport is over 5000. Obviously fighters is much lower.
fighter guy in my interview group at DL had 1600 TT and was hired.
