Thanks to age 65, quite a few of us did get to fly those things. For the bottom third of the list, it's a realistic possibility to end up working another one of those Jets For Jobs deals. That being the case, the best comparison between the CS100 rate is the second year SkyWest CR200 FO rate of $38/hr. When people say 'best negotiating environment ever', the hair on the back of my neck stands up. It's easy to gamble when you're not furlough fodder.
The way this NO vote is being sold reminds me of how age 65 was sold. Those of us who went through J4J would prefer to see a NSNB jet that we can fall back on should the Benjamin Button crowd push for age 67+.
If anyone considers the CS100 rates to be B Scale, try flying a CR200 for $38/hr.
Us, and them
And after all we're only ordinary men.
Me, and you.
God only knows it's noz what we would choose to do.
Forward he cried from the rear
and the front rank died.
And the general sat and the lines on the map
moved from side to side.
Black and blue
And who knows which is which and who is who.
Up and down.
But in the end it's only round and round.
Haven't you heard it's a battle of words
The poster bearer cried.
Listen son, said the man with the gun
There's room for you inside.
