Just to clarify, there is absolutely NOT a no-furlough clause in the TA (or the UPA).

UA can furlough all they want as long as the 76 seat RJs have 6 seats removed. Would it make UA think twice? Perhaps. But in a downturn demand is probably reduced anyway.

All the TA does is change the "trigger" to all pilots currently on the list and not just the pilots on the list at the time of the UPA.

Is this an improvement? Yes.

Is this a no-furlough clause? No.
