Virginia Schools are extremely good. Cost of living is high, you have to compete with all of the Marylanders escaping taxes. When I moved up from Louisiana I got half the house for thrice the price. The good news is your kids will meet and interact with kids from all over the world, particularly Central America, the Middle East and Pakistan. And they will learn to drive with one hand on the horn and the other sticking out the window.
