I would not assume that the new CEO is going to slow down the growth. That's a pretty big assumption, and I don't buy it. Economies of scale are very important and Spirit can make more money with more planes. I really don't think he will defer any deliveries
If the new CEO would just give a message about what he envisions in the coming years it would stop a lot of speculation and fear. For me I like the idea of a Merger with frontier, if and only if it is truely to compete with the big 4. I fear that the ULCC model is seen as a gimmick by shareholders and investors so they get their nice returns and not a true force in the airline industry.
