That happened to me when I was new. It's not bad living in DEN. Flying into ASE/EGE is fun and you get to avoid continuous North Dakota overnights in the wintertime. It will get old though. When they're low on regular reserves they will use you for whatever pops up. There's a lot more schedule flexibility in PBS and you can also trade trips.
