Does including the E2 in the Pay band with the E190/95 (via and Asterisk) also mean that it fulfills the requirement as a NSNB aircraft??? (no asterisk added in that section mentioned in the TA)

If so, that is where the bigger concern comes for the long term plan for the 319 and 737-700. Especially the 319 since the ones we are getting today are used, so their UA life expectancy would be shorter than most of the 737-700s.

Buy the bigger E2 version and replace the A319s and 737-700 with a lower paying aircraft.

Not sure with the low fuel prices and low lease prices (on used 319s) that this is a short term concern, but as fuel goes up in the coming years the savings in lease costs gets eaten up by the increased fuel costs. Then we end up flying the same sized aircraft for less money !
So, why hasn't the aircraft type been announced? A deal struck and inked before the vote deadline? There is absolutely NO reason for this, except that the asterisk is gonna be a gotcha, imho. Can't imagine being furloughed a 3rd time by the same company. Speaking of that, does the lual furlough first from contract 2012 ,still in play until 2017, or did it come down with the fence?
