Thanks for the guidance to everyone who has provided it. My numbers still don't add up for some reason. But I'm closer to a valid figure. All that matters is what arrives on 2/12.

To answer your question, meaningful profit sharing has been around for a small portion of my career (hence my resistance to going backwards). And like many pilots, I cannot explain every line item on my paycheck or statement. When a pay question arises, I need to do a little digging.

Maybe it hasn't changed from "day one," but some of us need a little help figuring it out. In my view, one thing changed this year. We received the JV scope settlement. I know why PS isn't paid on it: because the PS formula is written in a fashion that does not provide for it. Nonetheless, it's counterintuitive that a payment for lost wage earning opportunities is excluded from profit sharing.

I am "familiar" but not an expert. Again, info provided here is appreciated.
