Bombardier has certainly been hinting in the press recently that they have been talking with us, and I do recall hearing about a static display not too long ago at one of our bases. The current 190/195 are not performing so well (hence why Air Canada and JetBlue are ditching them and we have not shown interest in picking them up), I wonder if the E-2 will be improved enough to justify the investment. But either way it is hard to argue that we really need yet another fleet type, especially when fuel prices are so low.
That will be great to see Delta and UAL feverishly searching for cast off E190s around the world to support their lower-cost operations. The bean counters will be soooooo happy.
If UAL orders the E2 first delivery is expected to be 2018-2019, and by then the C-Series will have been in operation for 2 years with SWISS and a few others. Check out this well-done video showing the upcoming SWISS C-Series:

I guess time will tell which is selected by any legacies. Peace out!
