There are many, many things that are seriously wrong with the current contract. Right now, the best thing for Atlas crews to do is to learn our current contract in order to mitigate the current damage the company tries to inflict upon us every day, use the provisions in the contract that DO favor the flight crews, and stand behind the union as we march toward the upcoming contract battle with the company.

Beyond that, I have chosen to enjoy the things that are right with this job (fellow crews, blocks of time at home, gateway, new(er) equipment (well, 74 side at least), growth, seniority advancement, successful growth oriented upper management, etc.).
What I DON'T do is to "wallow in sorrow" for the many downsides I face at Atlas on a daily basis. I choose instead to focus that outrage on strengthening my personal and professional situation for the pending negotiation war, making sure I support the union by flying the contract, supporting their efforts, and making constructive contributions (instead of sniping from the trees) when I can.

It's all about perspective and choice. I've chosen to stay and fight because I believe it is the smartest career path for me, personally and professionally. I am able to maintain a positive outlook on life in the face of abuses by screw scheduling knowing that, while there amy be little I can do to fix some things right now, I sure as he77 can help our union fix them for our future.
