This about sums it up. You wonder why Great Lakes pays FO's $15/hr? Because they know that somebody will actually
pay to do the job.
This place charges you $14k for 100 hrs in the right seat of a 1900.
The thing is, most of these are not required positions. So, how good is this time? Single pilot certified aircraft flying freight are not required to have an SIC.
In this market, the pilot is the commodity. Supply and demand tells me that you don't need to PFT. OR you can just give me your money and I'll find you a job.
