A world in which DAL, already ahead of us by a long shot, is laying the groundwork to increase that distance significantly. A world with sub 30 dollar oil. A world with astonishing load factors and pricing power - unheard of just a few years ago. A world in which we earn significantly less (adjusted for inflation) than we did in 2000, when we had a pension and much better work rules....
