Something else to consider is that at FedEx, the flying is just that...Flying. You don't have to deal with flight attendants, passengers, gate agents, etc, etc. Whereas at Delta, you are not only the pilot, but at times you're the judge, jury, and executioner, as well as a line judge, ref, etc. etc. Then again, if you're the type who wants to strut around the airport, in your double-breasted jacket, with your shiny wings and your ray-bans, then perhaps Delta is the place for you. Regardless, congratulations, you've done well grasshopper. Best of luck with whichever airline you choose.

After re-reading my above post, I want to make it clear that I wasn't trying to diss the Delta guys at all with my comment about their attire. Just making the observation that some guys are really into the "airline pilot" image, big time, while others are just as happy slinking to their night flight, away from the eyes of the public.
